✉ BOLIVIA. 1877. LA CHIMBA (Bolivia) to FRANCE. CORREOS DE LA CHIMBA/BOLIVIA negative blue ship illustrated handstamp, Department of Litoral. Two strikes of the blue ship marking accompanied by a variety of matching blue handstamps including ADMON DE CORREOS/DE/LA CHIMBA three-line handstamp, straight line FRANCA and T/170 rate marking, carried to Lima (Peru) with that Post Office´s transit and turned over to the British Post Office at Callao with small CALLAO/JU 28 77 c.d.s. on reverse. Also London transit on the reverse and Calais entry c.d.s., backstamped Paris, very fine; an attractive and rare combination of the Bolivian Post Office featuring this lovely ship illustrated postmark and the British Postal Agency.

✉ BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA. Mi. 14. 1873 (June 7). Cover to ´BIHAC, MILITARGRENZE´ (Bosnia) franked by 1867/74 5kr. red tied by oval TRIEST datestamp in black. Reverse with Zagreb cds (June 8) overlapped by Turkey 1872 20pa. green in a strip of three all tied by negative seal of the Bihac Postmaster in black. ´Otocac´ cds of transit (9/6) alongside. (One stamp with corner added). A rare cover. Cert. VELICKOVIV (1990).

✉ BRASIL. 1880 (June 10). 300r red stationery envelope sent registered to Buenos Aires from Rio de Janeiro; endorsed ´Pelo Cervantes´ and up-rated with rouletted 1878 2x100r green and 1876 100r green all tied in black with red Registrado-Rio cds alongside. Oval ´Registrado´ struck at left. An unusual mixed issue franking and a rare cover. Scott 65,72.

✉ BRASIL. 1893. ITABAPOANA a RÍO DE JANEIRO. 50 reis verde y 700 reis lila bisectado para ser usado como 350 reis, completando un franqueo de 400 reis equivalente a cuatro portes (peso entre 46 y 60 grms.). Rarísimo, este sello bisectado no está reseñado en Meyer. Posiblemente se trate del único ejemplar conocido. Cert. B. MOORHOUSE.

✉ BULGARIA. 1854. CRIMEAN WAR. Entire letter writen in ´Camp Ghurickler´ and posted in VARNA (Wallachia). Franked with three GB stamps of 1d. red (one defective), tied by two strikes of the barred Crown and Stars cancels with P.O. British Army. Remarkable contens ref. cholera, russian spies and an assault. VERY RARE Crimena War cover used in Bulgaria.

✉ CHILE. Sc. 3a (3). 1854. SANTIAGO a VALPARAISO. 5 ctvos. castaño rojo, impreso por Desmadryl, tres sellos mat. CÍRCULOS CONCÉNTRICOS y fechador SANTIAGO/18 MAYO/54 y tasa manuscrita de "10 ctvos". Sellos de márgenes completos a excepción del margen derecho del último sello que es corto. Muy bonito y raro franqueo. Cert. B.P.A.

SANTIAGO a VALPARAÍSO. 5 ctvos. castaño (Desmadryl) márgenes completos (sello superior un margen algo corto) y 10 ctvos. azul (Estancos) tres grandes márgenes y el inferior corto. MUY RARA combinación de franqueo con el uso tardío de los sellos de la impresión Desmadryl. Cert. J. MAIER.

Excepcional combinación de franqueo conteniendo el RARÍSIMO 8p. naranja. Única carta conocida con este sello usado en Chile. Ex G. Glassco.

Cover franked by 1862 10c. bistre (scissors cut) tied by Paris Star in red with red cds (May 27) alongside. A delightful and rare item. Ceres 21.

(2) and 20 cts. french stamp to complete a postage of 25 cts. single rate to France tied with TRESOR ET POSTES AUX ARMEES/CHINE, manuscript ´Corps Expeditionnaire de Chine´, arrival cds on back. Very rare franking combination, probably unique known.

Cover and original printed letter from the French Consul in TIENTSIN (and signed by him), mailed to PERPIGNAN 'via Siberia', with large part TIENTSIN cds and manuscript 'Stamp Off' in red and oval GENERAL SUPERVISOR / POST OFFICE TIENTSIN in violet. and forwarded on to France without further charges. French Consular cachet on reverse of a rare cover.
