✉ MARTINICA. 1794 (9 Septiembre). TROIS ISLETS (Martinique) to LONDON. SECOND BRITISH OCCUPATION (23th March 1794 until 27th. March 1802) from Admiral Sir John Jervis on board his flag ship H.M.S. BOYNE. British straight line MARTINIQUE (38 mm). An endorsed "Sr. John Jarwis, appointened to H.M.S. ROSE".

✉ MARTINICA. 1873. ST. PIERRE to LONDON via British Packet bearing 15 cts. bister and three 40 cts. orange stamps (short margins) tied by MQE grill and red MARTINIQUE cds, showing red crayon "1/-" demoting the amount due to the G.P.O. Arrival cds on reverse. A very rare combination franking, probably the unique MARTINIQUE/PAID cds known.

✉ MARTINICA. 1874 (Sept 28). Double rate cover from ST. PIERRE to BORDEAUX bearing most unusual usage of French 1871-73 perforated issue 5c. green, 10c. bistre, 40c. vermilion and 80c. carmine all with perforations trimmed off to appear like French Colonial general issue; neatly tied by MQE lozenge of dots in black. St. Pierre cds at left and reverse with Bordeaux arrival (Oct 14) cds. A scarce and attractive usage.

Registered envelope to EGYPT bearing 05 on 30 cents brown (Yvert 12, fault), 15 on 25 cents black (Yvert 30b) with error ´1882´ for ´1892´ mixed with Groupe Type 40 cents orange (Yvert 40) tied by ST. PIERRE MARTINIQUE double ring with boxed registered and boxed handstruck A.R. with Ismalia arrival on reverse. Very rare stamp on cover.

✉ NUEVA CALEDONIA. Ce. 32. 1877 (Sept 1). Cover to NANTES franked by General Issues Type Sage 10c. green on greenish, two pairs, tied by NOUMEA datestamps in black. Marseille entry marking in red (Nov 19) alongside and arrivals on reverse. Slight ink stain on one adhesive but a scarce franking.

✉ REUNION. Ce. 4. 1867 (Feb 19). Cover to FRANCE via SUEZ, franked at Military Concession rate with 1859-65 Eagle 20 c. blue cancelled by blue dotted lozenge with octagonal CORR. D´ARMÉES/ST. DENIS in blue with civilian circular datestamp alongside of the same day. Reverse with oval LE COMMANDANT D´ARTILLERIE, P. VOIGNARD cachet and four French datestamp of arrival (March 17). A rare and appealing cover. Certificate ROUMET (2012).

✉ SENEGAL. Ce. 28. 1891 (June 18). Registered Value Declared (For 6.000 francs) cover to PARIS franked by General Issues Type Sage 75c. rise pair, slight fault to one, tied by GOREE-SENEGAL cds´s. Manuscript AFFRANCHISEMENT INSUFFISANT at top (apparently ignored) and fine octagonal LIGNE J-PAQ. FR. No. 2 datestamp in blue (June 23) below. Charge box on reverse with five red wax seals.

✉ SENEGAL. 1892 (Nov 17). Registered cover to BORDEAUX franked by marginal 75c. on 15c. blue tied by DAKAR cds in black, repeated strike alongside. Faint blue octagonal PAQUEBOTat left and reverse with Bordeaux arrival cds (Nov 27). A scarce and fine franking, with only 2000 stamps issued. Ceres 6.

✉ TAHITI. 1822 (Aug 22). Very early entire letter to London from Emeo (Moorea Islands) with framed 'DEAL - SHIP LETTER' in black on front and London (Jan 5) arrival cds on reverse. Manuscript rated "1/4d." to pay including 1d. for local re-addressing. A very fine and extremely early entire, journey time 137 days.

✉ TAHITI. 1893 (March 13). Cover at concessionary Soldier's Rate, endorsed from 'Amanu' (Tuamoto Archipelago) to a sailor on board ship on the Mediterranean Squadron; franked by 1893 overprinted 15c. blue tied by octagonal 'CORR. D'ARMEES-PAPEETE' in black with repeated strike alongside and Naval Detachment cachet in blue. Reverse with Marseille and Ajaccio (Corsica) cds's (May 4). Extremely rare, the only recorded example of a 19th Century usage from Amanu. Certificate SISMONDO. Ceres 24. Scott 22.

✉ TAHITI. 1893 (Sept 8). Cover to Nancy at concessionary Soldier´s Rate, franked by diagonally surcharged (reading up to right) 1893 15c. blue tied by octagonal ´CORR. D´ARMEES-PAPEETE´ in black with repeated strike alongside. Paris transit on front (Oct 26) and Nancy arrival on reverse of a fine and rare cover. Certificate SISMONDO. Ceres 12. Scott 10.

✉ ZANZIBAR. Ce. 31. 1900 (Nov 25). Registered cover commercially used to NEUILLY SUR SEINE (France) franked by 1896 50a. on 5fr. lilac tied by ZANZIBAR cds in black. Framed ´R´ at left and repeated cds. Reverse with LA REUNION A MARSEILLE/L.U.NO.3 transit (Nov 27) with arrival (Dec 14) alongside. A very rare single franking.

Registered cover from MUNICH to ROME franked by 1kr. rose-red (2), 6kr. brown and 9kr. green, margins from touched to large, tied by ´325´ numeral obliterators with MUNCHEN despatch cds below (Aug 13). Crossed through to denote prepayment with italic ´Charge´ at right in black. An unusual usage and destination. Most attractive cover. Cert. P. SEM.MUNCHEN a ROMA (Italia). 1 kr. rosa (2), 6 kr. marrón y 9 kr. verde, carta certificada, marca CHARGE, márgenes algo cortos pero muy bonito franqueo tricolor. Cert. P. SEM.

✉ ALEMANIA ANTIGUOS ESTADOS: BAVIERA. Mi. 8 (2), 9, 13 (2). (1864 CA.). FURTH to NEW YORK. Envelope franked with two 1 kr. olive, 3 kr. red and two 18 kr. vermilion, tied by "145" in dotted circle with FURTH datestamp. Each stamp cut tightly and touching as is usually the case with this correspondence. Fine and remarkable franking using two 18 kr. stamps. Cert. BRETTL.
