Carta circulada desde CAMPECHE a BARCELONA encaminada hasta la Habana por SANTOS VILLAVERDE (marca en el frente) y allí franqueada con dos sellos de 1/2 real de Antillas. Muy rara, circulada durante el período de Ocupación de México por las tropas del General Prim que duró de enero a marzo de 1862.

Vera Cruz District 1 r. black on green, 2 r. black on rose and 4 r. red on yellow, ample to large margins all round, used on 1863 cover from VERA CRUZ to MEXICO CITY tied by two strikes of the Mexico City network handstamp in black on arrival. A RARE and attractive franking. Cert. MEPSI.
