The entire was sent via JAMAICA with manuscript ´Fwd´d 22 June 1840´ with outstanding KINGSTON cds on reverse (June 27) and LONDON arrival on reverse (Aug 9). On arrival in FALMOUTH a superb strike of the CARTHAGENA Fleuron handstamp in red applied on front and rated 4 s. 1 d. Truly delightful and historic cover.
