✉ GIBRALTAR. 1827. CHICLANA (Cádiz, Spain) to MALTA. Entire letter sent via the British Consulate at Cadiz. B.C./CADIZ mark and fine red GIBRALTAR arc. At this time Cadiz was blockaded by French Ships, the British Packets could not call at Cadiz to collect mail. Instead it was courriered to Gibraltar for onward transmission. Charged "6" on arrival. A VERY RARE cover, only two known with both marks.

✉ GIBRALTAR. 1851 (June 9). Outer letter sheet to Alnwick, Northumberland with fine strike of three line dated ´GIBRALTAR/9 JU 9 1851/ SHIP LETTER´ struck in blue (Day, Month, Day, Year, Type III). Red manuscript ´8´ denoting single rate of 8d. prepaid, reverse with framed ´Liverpool/Ship´ (June 17) and arrival cds. Displays well.

✉ HONG KONG. 1850 (Jan 30). Entire letter from HONG KONG to PARIS via Marseille, reverse with HONG KONG cds in black and obverse with good strike of PAID AT HONG KONG Crown Circle in red. Prepaid 1sh. in manuscript and charged 10 decimes due on receipt (March 21).

✉ HONG KONG. 1863. Cover with manuscript endorsement on front from HONG KONG, struck on reverse with HONG KONG single ring datestamp (July 11) in black. Framed GB/1F 62 4/10 Anglo-French accountancy handstamp in black with Marseille entry mark (Aug 26) in red. Bolsuard arrival cds in red on reverse of a fine cover.

Chusan" steamer, mailed to BUSHIRE (Persia) franked by 1891 20c. on 30c. grey green, 1882-96 2c. rose red, 4c. grey, 5c. ultramarine and 10c. purple on red all tied by HONG KONG cds's in black. Reverse with Tuticorin cds and Bushire arrival cds. A remarkable and rare cover. SG 33,34,35,38,48a.

✉ HONG KONG. 1897. Large parcel front sent registered to Milwaukee, USA franked by 1882-96 2c. rose, single and two blocks of four of 5c. pale blue and block of eight 10c. purple on red all tied by Hong Kong cds's. Oustanding franking. SG 33,35,38.

✉ JAMAICA. 1874 (Aug 8). Entire letter at double rate from Kingston to Jacmel, Haiti on Steamer Elbe, with manuscript ´8´ in red (double Inter-island rate) bearing 1870-83 4d. brown-orange and 6d. mauve tied by ´AO1´ obliterators. Kingston cds of despatch on reverse. A rare entire. SG 11,12.

Entire letter franked with 1 sh. brown, single 1d. blue and an unauthorized bisect of a further 1d. blue to pay 1 sh. 1 1/2 d. rate to Italy, each cancelled by OLD HARBOUR / JAMAICA cds. with Kingston transit and two strikes of MORE TO PAY handstamp alongside red crayon "1/-". ✉ MALTA. 1814 (Nov. 19). SPANISH POST OFFICE (General Post Office in all the Middle East). MALTA to MADRID. Cover with original contents sent from the General Spanish Consul in Malta to the Duke of San Carlos (General Supervisor of the Spanish Post). Very interesting text, includes the Post accounts of the Middle East courier (years 1812 to 1814) and a rare manuscript Bill of Exchange of 200.000 Reales de vellón, drawn against the Supervisor of the Post Office. Extraordinary document of Postal History in very good condition.

✉ MALTA. 1838. Stampless envelope addressed to PARIS written from ´La Hauteur de Stromboli´ at Malta with manuscript ´MALTA´ and boxed PAQUEBOTS DE LA MEDITERANEE and charged ´20´ on arrival in manuscript. Very rare item.
