✉ INDIA HOLANDESA. 1860. Stampless letter from BATAVIA to GERMANY, endorsed ´Via Triest´, with scarce blue 6 handstamp applied in TRIEST and KOLN, GERMANY backstamp. Very fine, handsome and very scarce.

Grey stationery envelope used to FRANKFURT and up-rated with additional 1883-90 2 1/2 c. and 1892 10 c. orange brown tied by SOERABAJA squared circle datestamps in black. WELTVREDEN transit and on arrival, found open and resealed by three blue wafer seals at the FRANKFURT PO. Attractive and unusual cover.

Se conocen solamente 5 cartas con ésta marca manuscrita, ésta carta o dos más llegadas a Southampton el 23 de Octubre a bordo del ´Thames´, otra procedente de Bolivia (12 Agosto) y la otra de Tacna (31 Agosto). RARÍSIMA. Ex. col. DUTAU.

Concessionary rate plus 1 d. extra for a prepaid Letter via Panama and rare thus, written by William Lincott, Captain´s Steward on HMS at COLON and Countersigned by Liut. George Roberts. Rear with LONDON and BRIGHTON cds. Rare military cover from PANAMA.

✉ PANAMA. 1878 (Sept 15). Cover from Palmira to New York franked by Colombia 1876-80 imperforate 10c. pale brown tied by ´PANAMA´ single cicle datestamp of British P.O. (Sept 23). Fine strike of ´New York/Due 5 Cents´ duplex of arrival (Oct 8) in black. A scarce and very attractive cover. BPA certificate (1990).

✉ PANAMA. 1886. PALMIRA to GERMANY. 2 c. postal stationary card to Hamburg cancelled straight-line PALMIRA handstamp, French maritime octagonal PANAMA/LIG. A. PAQ. FR. Nº1 (Salles nº 1413A) date stamp, arrival backstamp. Very rare, according to Salles this mark is not known on cover.
