✉ NEPAL. 1884. TWO indian Postal Stationery of 1/2 anna blue and green sent to KATHMANDU with NEPAL small datestamp on arrival.
Lot 915
✉ NEPAL. 1884 (Oct.). KATHMANDU to MOTIHARE (India). 1/2 anna green indian envelope cancelled with NEPAL datestamp, on back POSTAGE DUE/ONE ANNA handstamp. VERY RARE only three covers known with this datestamp used as cancellation.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 22 (7). 1909 (April). RIDI to KATHMANDU. Registered and A.R. addressed to the Maharaja of Nepal, Chandra Shamsher. Franked with seven 4 pice stamps, cancelled with the old negative postmark of RIDI. As usual only one of the strikes is hand-dated.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 23 (3). 1923 (Oct.). RIDI to KATHMANDU. Registered cover franked with a strip of three 8 pice, pale red.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 39, 40, 41 (2). 1931 (August). ACHHAM RIDIKOT to DOTI. Registered cover weighing 6 tola correctly franked with 4 pice green, 8 pice red and a pair of 16 pice violet. The cancellation and the franking are EXTREMELY RARE.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 22. 1931 (Nov.). CHAINPUR to KATHMANDU. Registered triple-weight cover addressed to the Maharaja of Nepal, Bhim Shamsher. Franked with block of eight 4 pice stamps, cancelled with the hand dated postmark of CHAINPUR.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 46 (4). 1935 (Jan.). BIRGANJ to KATHMANDU. Double-weight cover franked with a block of four 2 pice brown. Envelope reduced at lef.
Lot 937
✉ NEPAL. Mi. 23, 24, 47. 1937 (July). TATAPANI to KATHMANDU. Registered double-weight cover bearing an unusual mixed franking of the 1907 issue 8 and 16 pice and the 1935 issue 4 pice. Only two covers are known with mixed frankings of 1907 & 1935. Ex W. Hellrig.

✉ NEPAL. Mi. 47 (6). 1938 (June). JUMLA to DOTI via KARNALI. Registered cover franked with a block of six 4 pice green stamps, bearing the three postmarks of Western Nepal.

✉ HOLANDA. 1869 (April 29). Cover from Amsterdam to St. Petersburg/Russia bearing 1867 5c. blue and two 10c. carmine, red Amsterdam despatch cds at left. Blue crayon ´Wfr 2´ and red crayon ´3´ rate credits on front; reverse with ´Emmerich/Offenhausen´ transit. An unusual destination. Scott 7,8.
