Together with the original envelope the cards were originally sold in.Extremely seldom seen group.

Registered envelope of 3ctvos. in ´albino´ (Scott U437 ?) to Berne, Switzerland franked by Jamestown 2c carmine pair, 1915 5c blue and 1919 Victory 3c violet all tied by bold strikes of scarce WAIMEA-HAWAII handstamps in red. Charged on arrival with 1910 Postage Due 50c blue green & red tied by Berne cds. Delightful and scarce cover. Scott 329,403,537/J43.

✉ URUGUAY. 1879 (19.2). MONTEVIDEO a TORINO. Circulada con sello de 20 cts. castaño claro, tasada primero con 80 cts. rectificado a ´14´ décimas pagadas con sellos italianos de 40 cts. y 1 lira. Magnífica.

✉ URUGUAY. 1898(Oct 14). P.S.N.C. Cover to Helsingfors, FINLAND franked by Great Britain Jubilee issue 2½d pair tied by ´Entrada Y Clasificacion-Montevideo´ datestamp in black with Montevideo cds alongside and reverse with tri-lingual Helsinki arrival. SG 201.

Entire letter datelined CIUDAD BOLIVAR, mailed to BORDEAUX and struck in transit with SAINT PIERRE MARTINIQUE datestamp in black, via London (March 6) and struck with COLONIES / & ART.13 in red. Charged 25 decimes in manuscript on delivery. Fine and most unusual routing.

✉ VENEZUELA. 1864. Incoming stampless entire letter from LIVERPOOL (26 Dec) with sender´s cachet endorsed ´per Kilo´ addressed ´Messrs. Krutzer & Rivodo / Caracas / La Guaira´ with HERNANDEZ & RIVODO/LA GUAIRA forwarding agent cachet and addes 1863 1/2r Eagle tied by LA GUAIRA cds (18 Mar) to pay ongoing postage to Caracas. RARE usage of an Eagle stamp.

✉ VENEZUELA. 1871. Entire letter sent stampless to BORDEAUX endorsed per ´RMS´ with fine strike in black of British PO CIUDAD BOLIVAR PAID cds in red. Sent on via LONDON with cds and thence to Bordeaux, (Paris was under seige). A rare and splendid cover.
